What is Setlist?

A setlist is the list of songs for a specific service in running order, with the key, tempo and notes for each one. The worship leader puts it together, and the team uses it as the plan for rehearsal and on stage.

Explanation

A good setlist has more than titles. Musicians need the key, tempo and notes: where the modulation is, where it goes quiet, who starts.

Example

1. Light of a New Day — B, 72 BPM, piano starts
2. Quiet Harbor — G, 64 BPM, straight in with no pause
3. Praise at Dawn — D, 120 BPM, bridge twice

How it works in Kinor

The setlist is attached to the service. Each member sees it in their own key, with the materials for their role.
