Lineup auto-pick that explains its choices
Kinor’s auto-pick suggests a lineup for every service based on availability replies, roles and rotation. Next to each name is the reason that person was picked, plus a warning if someone is missing. Nothing gets published without your approval: accept the whole draft or edit individual rows.
Three steps
- 01
Collect availability
Auto-pick only uses people who said “I’m in”.
- 02
Get a draft
A lineup for every service in the month, in seconds.
- 03
You decide
Accept it all or change individual rows.
Chat and spreadsheet vs Kinor
- Only the leader remembers the rotation
- Some serve every week, some never
- No idea why the lineup looks the way it does
- The system counts who served how often
- The load is spread evenly
- A reason next to every pick
Good to know
Can auto-pick get it wrong?
It doesn’t know about your private arrangements, so it only suggests. You decide.
How do I set priorities?
Mark the core musician for a role, or pairs who work best together.
What if nobody is available for a role?
The row is highlighted in yellow with the reason.
Can I turn auto-pick off?
Yes, you can run the schedule entirely by hand.
«I like that the system doesn’t decide for me. It shows why it suggests Olya, and I agree in a second.»
Questions and answers
Does auto-pick take skills into account?
Yes, through roles: a person only lands on roles they have.
Can I accept only part of the draft?
Yes, each row is accepted separately.
Which plans include auto-pick?
Team and Church.
Does it change the schedule without me?
No. A draft only becomes the schedule after you accept it.
