What is ChordPro?

ChordPro is a plain-text format for songs where chords go in square brackets right before the syllable they’re played on. Because of that, the chords can be transposed automatically.

Explanation

Chords lined up with spaces above a lyric line slide out of place as soon as the font changes. In ChordPro, each chord is tied to a syllable, so the app always knows where to show it.

Example

[B]You lead me [F#/A#]through the [G#m]night
to the [E]light of a new [B]day

How it works in Kinor

Paste a song in ChordPro and Kinor shows the chords above the lyrics and transposes them to any key.
