What is Rehearsal?

A rehearsal is the team preparing together for a service: running the songs from the setlist, the transitions between them, and agreeing on dynamics and how each song starts.

Explanation

A good rehearsal has a plan: hard parts and transitions first, then a full run of the setlist, and prayer at the end. It takes 1.5–2 hours.

Example

5:00 PM — arrive and set up
5:15 PM — hard parts
6:00 PM — full setlist run
6:45 PM — prayer
