What is Soundcheck?

A soundcheck is the sound check before a service: the sound tech sets levels for each instrument and voice in turn, and musicians dial in their monitors.

Explanation

Soundcheck usually starts 45–60 minutes before the service. The order: drums, bass, keys, guitars, vocals, then the whole team together.

9:00 — team arrives
9:10 — soundcheck
9:40 — prayer
10:00 — service
